Tooth Wear

Parafunctional and erosive tooth wear is one of the most common dental problems for the ageing population. Erosive tooth wear is also a problem for many younger patients. Peter has published several clinical papers on this subject and is well positioned to diagnose and formulate sensible treatment plans for general dental practitioners to follow. Treatment can also be provided if requested. As a result of the advances in adhesive dentistry, and dental materials over the last 10-15 years, many different treatment options are now available that are minimally invasive, and achieve excellent aesthetic outcomes without risking the loss of pulpal vitality, and compromising the long term prognosis for a tooth (especially in a young patient).
