Please find details of Peter’s teaching / lecturing activities via websites and searches.

Since part time employment with Health Education England (HEE London and South East) – Peter is no longer in a position to continue educational delivery at Hodsoll House.  This would clearly conflict with his new part time position as Associate Dean for HEE Lond/SE.

However, in 2016 he is providing teaching for the BDA (Seminar Series & National Conference), BSSPD, BARD and HEE (London Dental Educational and Training).

‘….My educational goals are to provide dental practitioners with up to date information which they can use to improve their clinical confidence in a clinical setting.   Having undertaken a ‘taught – clinical Master’s programme at the Eastman I am equally happy to teach clinical simulation in small groups, interactive seminars or larger groups in lecture style…..’

‘…..My goals are to provide delegates with better knowledge, improved and more reflective problem-solving skills and exposure to specific clinical procedures, with the aid of advanced simulation teaching.  All courses should encourage ‘deep learning’ to update the attending dentists on the changes in philosophy and clinical techniques that have taken place in Restorative Dentistry over the last 15 years…..’

‘……Taking into consideration the increased number of older patients (as outlined in the 2009 adult dental survey) with heavily restored teeth it is essential that all dentists have broad skills and an understanding that they are important…..’

‘…….Younger dentists must learn to be able to offer these skills to patients but also to be aware of the shift of dental disease within the UK population.  In the future there will be the need for improved prevention for caries, toothwear and periodontal disease….’

‘…….Finally one of my most important goals is to encourage the attending delegates to continue to strive for the highest professional standards. This approach to dentistry is essential for us all, if we wish to maintain the respect and trust of the general public we serve….’
